A complete replacement for the original oil filter body (head) and canister assembly. Ready to fit "out of the box". Benefits include a much quicker and cleaner operation to change the filter compared with that with a replaceable oil filter element. No risk of losing the filter bowl internal washers and spring in the oil drain tank - been there and done it! Unlike conversions in which the filter body (head) is machined to accept a spin-on filter, the use of this conversion enables you to retain the original filter assembly for a future re-installation if required. The filter body (head) has a port which will accept a low oil Pressure warning light transmitter (not supplied). The filter body of the conversion has this port blanked off by a screwed plug. IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THIS KIT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR INSTALLATION ON THE GIULIA 101 SERIES NORMALE WHEN FITTED WITH THE ORIGINAL LARGE RUBBER BLOCK TYPE ENGINE MOUNTINGS AS AlfaStop ITEM # 2EN103.
