This cylinder had been discontinued by Lucas Girling & AlfaStop was able to buy all their remaining European stock. Sadly this stock has now been sold, however good quality N.O.S. original Girling cylinders are sometimes available. In order to maintain supply, AlfaStop also uses a UK supplier who aSSembles new cylinders using new production Girling cylinder castings. 7/8" (22mm) diameter.2x cylinders required for 1x car. See AlfaStop item # 1BRR102 for the fitting kit for these cylinders. 750 & 101 Series Rear Wheel Cylinders - There are two sizes of rear wheel cylinders fitted to Giuliettas, 101 series Giulias and very early 105 series Giulias. They look the same externally but are of different diameters, 0.7" (17.8mm), or 7/8" (22.3mm). Generally, the larger 7/8" cylinders were fitted to cars with drum type front brakes, and 0.7" cylinders were fitted to cars with disc type front brakes. A number of cars are being found with the wrong cylinders, and even some with different size cylinders on each side! So it is worth checking both your cylinders before ordering a repair kit or a new cylinder.
