AlfaStop RACING B pads are based on the modern friction technology, using a Kevlar based non-metallic material. This material has a very good initial "bite" from cold, performs consistently over a very wide operating temperature range, and has a relatively low wear rate. The design of the full width Steel backplate enables the pad to be installed in calipers fitted both with original Dunlop type pistons incorporating a "mushroom" pin head, and with replacement pistons.
