ALFASTOP CATALOGUE

The closest which I have seen to the original form of ID / data and lubrication plates. The bare metal sections of the plate (i. e. the stamping areas, the script and the print) are slightly raised as the original. The plates are supplied with a protective film sheet over the top surface, this should be removed before installation. The are available exclusively from AlfaStop. There seem to have been a number of versions of these plates over the years, and of course they are not detailed in any of the parts book. Note that this style of ID plate has a fourth section for the weight of the car. Learned Giuliettisti have dated this style as being from 1958. The best method to determine which type of ID plate was correct for your car as sold in the original market is probably to search Google images for engine bay photos of original cars supplied in the market where the car was originally supplied or sold. By "market", I am thinking about countries (such as Italy, Germany, USA) which are known to have had specific regulations or requirements to display particular information about a car on the ID or similar plates. These plates are only available as a set of 2x plates, they are not available individually.
